Writers of my generation were to be confronted at the zenith of their careers with an ominous parting of the tracks. All those who failed to make the leap from typewriter to computer soon became a burden to all the recipients of their texts. But even those who remained competitive by swiftly changing trains en route found a new challenge looming in the shape of the internet. After having benefited from its inexhaustible store of information, I now gladly embrace it too, as an author who wishes to introduce his actions and works to all other users.
